A Double Delight with Marla Primrose: Two Distinct Tablescapes and a Chef-Curated Feast by Lucy
Our collaboration with Stephanie at Marla & Primrose showcased two very distinct tablescapes over two beautiful lunches, with Lucy’s fantastic three-course feast elevating the experience. Each table setting expressed its own unique aesthetic, creating a wonderful contrast between both events.
For the first lunch, we embraced soft, romantic hues, combining delicate pinks and whites that created a dreamy, feminine atmosphere. The table was adorned with exquisite floral arrangements, featuring tulips, peonies, and other delicate blooms, which complemented the soft tones of the tablescape. The place settings were kept elegant and subtle, with pastel candles and perfectly paired glassware, making it a serene and inviting space to enjoy Lucy’s delightful courses.
The second lunch was a bold departure from traditional tablescaping rules. Inspired by Sicilian ceramics, we used stunning head-shaped vases brimming with vibrant flowers, accompanied by fresh lemons and decorative cactus accents running down the table. The hand-painted crockery and striking linens added a vivid, playful contrast to the table’s design. The vibrant yellow glassware and bold blues in the ribbons and napkins tied it all together, creating a visually striking and exuberant setup.
These two lunches perfectly captured how varying elements and tableware choices can set completely different moods, while maintaining a sense of luxury and style. Each collaboration with Marla & Primrose is a chance to push creative boundaries, and this time, Lucy's incredible menu added yet another layer of enjoyment to these events.
