Tell me about your style?
I would describe my style as a combination of modern Scandinavian design with pops of colour and pattern.
How would you describe your interiors?
My home is very modern and all on one level. It's like living in a flat but we also have a cute garden! Over the past four years, we've added some panelling and painted a few walls whilst adding different textiles, prints to make our space feel more cosy - adding a touch of our style to uplift the interiors.
Where do you find your inspiration for your home decor?
I love scrolling through Pinterest & curating images and ideas. I also have a few favourite Instagram accounts which I just adore following for interior styling.
Do you have any tips for anyone starting out on a new project?
I always like to do a moodboard first - collecting samples of paint, textiles and other details like hardware. It really helps to see all of your ideas in once place before beginning a project.
How would you describe your tablescape style?
Layering is a must. Raffia placemats coupled with bold, mix-and-match plates. I also love to add florals and beautiful linens. I love to lay our table when we have dinner parties but also when it's just the two of us enjoying dinner together.
Favourite Marla & Primrose homeware?
The bow detail ceramics. They are too pretty!
What would you use to create your dream tablescape from the M&P collection?
I would start with a staple - a gingham tablecloth and napkins - layer with the Jore Copenhagen bow-detail ceramic plates & some of the gorgeous ceramic candle holders by Joanna Ling and to match with burgundy beewax taper candles.
Tips for hosting a dinner party?
Prepare well in advance. I have already started sorting my Christmas tablescaping pieces!
